Top 10 Most Famous Rock Singers 2022

It’s that time of year again! Time to compile our list of the top 10 most famous rock singers of 2022. This was a tough year for music, with so many great artists releasing new music. But we’ve managed to narrow it down to our top 10 favorites. 

Freddie Mercury

Freddie Mercury was born Farrokh Bulsara on September 5, 1946, in Zanzibar, East Africa (now part of Tanzania). His parents, Bomi and Jer Bulsara, were Parsis from India. The family moved to England when Mercury was 17 years old. At the age of 18 he started attending art college and changed his name to Freddie Mercury. He soon dropped out of school to pursue a career in music.

Mercury joined the band Smile in 1968. The following year he met Brian May and Roger Taylor, who invited him to join their band Queen. Queen’s first album, Queen, was released in 1973 and was followed by a string of successful albums: A Night at the Opera (1975), News of the World (1977), Jazz (1978), The Game (1980), Hot Space (1982), The Works (1984), A Kind of Magic (1986), The Miracle (1989), Innuendo (1991) and Made in Heaven (1995).

Mick Jagger

Mick Jagger is one of the most famous rock singers in the world. He is the lead singer of the Rolling Stones, and has been a part of the band for over 50 years. He is also an accomplished solo artist, and has released several solo albums. In addition to his musical career, Jagger has also acted in several films and television shows.

Bruce Springsteen

In the United States, Bruce Springsteen is often thought of as “The Boss.” He is a singer-songwriter who has released nineteen studio albums, eight of which have gone platinum or better. Many of his songs are about working-class life and struggles, and he is known for his energetic live performances. Springsteen has won twenty Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.

Elvis Presley

Elvis Presley was one of the most famous rock singers of all time. He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, on January 8, 1935, and died in Memphis, Tennessee, on August 16, 1977. Presley was a major figure in the development of rockabilly, an uptempo, backbeat-driven fusion of country music and rhythm and blues. 

During his career, Presley sold more than 600 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time. His American recordings were certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as having shipped or sold more than 300 million copies in the United States alone. His popularity transcended racial barriers at a time when such barriers were entrenched in American society.

Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan is one of the most famous and influential rock singers of all time. He has been a major force in music for over five decades, and his songs have been covered by countless artists. Dylan’s unique voice and songwriting style have influenced generations of musicians, and he is widely considered to be one of the greatest songwriters of all time.

Bono

Jimmy Page

Rose has been named one of the greatest singers of all time by Rolling Stone and was ranked at number Axl in Hit Parader’s Top Heavy Metal Vocalists of All Time list. He has released six studio albums, two with Guns N’ Roses and four as a solo artist. 

Rose was born William Bruce Rose Jr. in Lafayette, Indiana, on February 6, 1962. His mother Sharon had him when she was just 16 years old, and his father William Sr. left the family soon after. Rose was raised by his mother and stepfather Steve Bailey. As a child, Rose endured physical abuse from his stepfather; Bailey would often beat him with a belt or whip him with electrical cords.

Eddie Vedder

Eddie Vedder is one of the most famous rock singers in the world. He is best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Pearl Jam. Vedder has been a member of Pearl Jam since 1990, and he has released ten studio albums with the band.
